Prof. Rowena Schwartz, Pharm D, BCOP, visited the Faculty of Pharmacy, MIU, from February 25th to March 4th, 2019. During her visit, Dr Schwartz gave lectures to 5th year pharmacy students on oncologic diseases and their proper pharmacotherapeutic approaches. She also discussed the following topics with the Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice Staff and the fellows of Clinical Pharmacy, Ministry of Health:
– The role of clinical pharmacy in the management of breast cancer and Leukemia
– The advances in chemotherapeutic medications and immunotherapy
