The Faculty of Al-Alsun and Mass Communication organized a seminar on “How to perform First Aid” on February 24, 2020 led by Dr. Fetouh Hassanien, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Director of Care and Emergency at Misr International University.
Dr. Fetouh explained that first aid is the immediate care provided when a person is suddenly ill or injured until full medical treatment is offered. He highlighted several first-aid topics such as general first aid overview, burns, heat emergencies and heart attacks. He also showcased several videos of critical cases to demonstrate the appropriate type of aid in each case.
