On Monday the 7th of May 2018 a workshop was held in collaboration with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank. It was given by Dr. Lea Gagnon, Editorial Development Advisor; Ph.D. University of Montreal and aimed at helping researchers discover, apply and create new tools.
It also presented ways to increase the chance of publication through planning the study, designing an RCT, collecting and analyzing data, avoiding biases and writing your manuscript. The attendees were teaching assistants and faculty members from Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine as well as Faculty of Pharmacy. The instructor was rated excellent by 100% of the attendees. The workshop was rated excellent by (53.8%) of the participants, very good (30.8%) and good (15.4%). The attendees asked for more time to cover the topic.
