Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine

About Our Program

Since the establishment of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine in 2001, its ever-growing student body, practitioners and the community at large have been witnesses to its being an outstanding educational institution. Its long standing tradition of excellence in patient care, medical education, research and community service places the faculty among the most reputable dental schools in the region.

The Faculty offers a five-year program (10 semesters) leading to a Bachelor’s Degree in Oral and Dental Medicine. Students are required to complete 175 credit hours (49 courses) for graduation.

The dental program is presented in an interdisciplinary format through a unique innovative competency based curriculum that emphasizes mentored, small group, case based study utilizing flipped classrooms and team based activities.  Early in the curriculum students gain clinical experiences that prepare them for the comprehensive clinical care in the senior years.

Provided by the KU Institute of Education, this programme is available by distance learning, allowing you to study flexibly while balancing work and personal lifes. The MSc Finance (EG. Banking) deepens your understanding of banks and financial markets, and how they relate to performance. It will help you to advance your career in finance and policy.
