Dental Implantology Center:
MIU DCC Implantology Center is one of the most unique centers in the DCC. It provides a well-equipped and organized clinic that consists of 8 dental units, divided into compartments with all the facilities a dental student would need to perform implant surgeries under local anesthesia. Postgraduate students and Continuous Education participants, get a chance to observe and perform all types of implant surgeries in a hygienic environment set especially to offer outstanding dental treatment to the patient. Students are supervised to follow infection control rules, and are taught to perform all different types of minor surgeries in this area of the clinics. A monitor is available at each of these units allowing students to plan the patient’s treatment via CBCT.
Patients’ Welfare & Medical Emergency Department:
A team of qualified physicians for Life Support, trained and certified by the American Heart Association (AHA). is responsible for managing medical emergencies that may occur at the Dental Clinic Complex (DCC).
We also offer medical advice and precautions for medically compromised patients in the outpatient clinics. Those who are not familiar with the dental procedures needed are referred to specialist physician for further recommendations.
The medical team also participates in the Student Research Committee to conduct research for community health awareness.
