MIU offers an avant-garde internship training program that follows the same rules and regulations applied in national universities, with a unique approach to guarantee providing interns with the highest level of knowledge and skills.
The ITP team is directed and headed by the Vice Dean of Community Services and Environmental Affairs, Prof. Eman El Taftazany. The team consists of dedicated dentists who organize the program academic activities and events throughout the year.
State-of-the-art equipment and facilities are provided for all interns while working in clinics. A fully equipped seminar room is available for all lectures and workshops offered to interns.
The internship training year is mandatory for earning the Bachelor Degree of Oral and Dental Medicine. MIU Internship Training Program is structured in the form of rounds or rotations of duties in different dental specialties. Interns spend twelve months consolidating their knowledge and honing their skills in various departments. In each of the following departments, interns are expected to fulfill a set of clinical requirements under close supervision and guidance by MIU staff members.
In order to give MIU interns a head start to their coming future, we continuously offer courses and hands-on workshops on the most recent trends and techniques in the field of dentistry. The following are some of the opportunities opened up to MIU interns:
Misr International University is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider.
ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education.
ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.
MIU designates all activities provided by the scientific committee of the Internship Training Program by continuing education credits.
