Misr International University launched a two-day blood donation campaign on Monday 11 and Wednesday 13, December 2017. The campaign was organized in collaboration with the Central Blood Bank and Egyptian Ministry of Health.
MIU clubs adopted the theme of “ Heroes” to be the slogan of this campaign to invite students and all university staff members and personnel to donate blood. The campaign aimed at raising awareness of the need for regular blood donations to ensure availability of blood and blood products for patients in need.
More than 500 blood units have been collected, which reflects the success of the campaign at attracting very high response of all members working in MIU.
The Central Blood bank members were impressed by the well-organized campaign and the effective participation of students and all members of MIU.
